Furma Farm

Sadan Tutuncu has decided to leave working as executive and moved to his farm in Karaburun, Bozkoy in early 2016. His aim is to have a sustainable life and to build food forests. He first planted pomegrenates in Karaburun, Yaylakoy in 2011 which is fifteen km far from the farm. Then, he was impressed by Masanobu Fukuoka and shifted to polycultural plantation in 2013. As of today, he has planted more than one thousand grapes, fruit and nitrogene fixing trees. There is no tilling on the land. It is five km away from the center of Karaburun and is located on twelve hectares land. The farm has 180 degree Aegean sea view from Midilli (Greek) island to Izmir bay and has seven rooms attached to the main building with own bathroom and with shower for visitors and volunteers.
